We're TP Cigar Lounge & Private Bar (Tobacco Plus), and we've been a premier cigar shop in Matteson, IL, since 1996. In addition to our freshly hand-rolled cigars, expertly crafted by our Dominican master cigar roller, we offer an impressive selection of premium and rare cigars from hard-to-obtain brands. Our team will happily cut and torch your cigars at the point of sale. We are also able to service and treat your humidor and any issues that it may have. Great selection of cigars. Excellent options of Single Malt Scotch on the bar. The staff I encountered, Dwight I think, made me feel very welcome as a first time visitor. The owner was there so I asked to meet him just to compliment the staff and his establishment. I can only speak for the Tuesday night I visited. A perfectly curated playlist of contemporary type jazz at the right volume allowed me to converse with a regular and Dwight most of the evening. If you follow my reviews of Cigar Lounges, you already know that this is exactly what I prefer and enjoy most. I was invited back Wednesday when they will have a DJ. I politely declined and said I love this Tuesday vibe you have and I just can't get this at most places in Atlanta ..the DJ and club vibe in Atlanta for sure...but not this laid back. It's just my personal preference. So on the nights where this is the vibe is when I will likely return. Nice to have two options in this area.

I have found TP to be an oasis for contemplation and good gentlemanly conversation. ...The perfect place where I can crack open my laptop as a writer and steal away, and enjoy a fine cigar from a wide collection while sipping spirits or coffee undisturbed in an atmosphere, where the hospitality and professionalism of its staff are second to none. The atmosphere and ambiance are as smooth as the soft jazz that spills from its speakers amid soothing recessed lighting, wide back leather chairs and a flickering fireplace, which lend to the total cigar smoking experience. Did I mention the bar and high-top wooden tables? Perfecto.

I stopped into TP first time in a long time and had a enjoyable experience. I was pleasantly surprised at the new layout! It was warm, inviting and very comfortable. What made my time even more enjoyable was Tara the lounge attendant. Tara was attentive, knowledgeable and engaging! All while smiling and occasionally asking if I need anything else, and if I was good. Thank you Tara for providing great service and fun conversation. I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend TP Cigar Lounge!
